Other Games

The cheeky organisers at FIFA had created the schedule to give the home nations the best chance possible, and maximise entertainment (in the other games). This means we could get some mouthwatering games even if England doesn’t succeed. France v Germany in the Round of 16, and the winner will face the Netherlands and then Spain. And on the other side of the draw, the chance to see Messi v Ronaldo in an Argentina v Portugal Quarter Final.

As for kick-off times, matches are played across three countries and four time zones, so they are very varied. In the UK, we should get at least one “watchable” game every day, ranging from 5pm to 10pm kick-offs, but a high percentage of games will be played in the early hours of the morning. You can find all the kick-offs on the Official Site.

If you want to plot your own route to the final, here is a great predictor game.
